Read the word or full line, then press Let’s play. Each line stays on screen for four preparation beats before your turn. Start at 80 BPM and four bars for your first round.
2. Say the word on four
Let the first three beats go by. When the fourth pad lights up, say the large word aloud. The next line starts with another four-beat reading break.
After the next reading break, say night. Light and night rhyme because their ending sounds match.
3. Try a little more flow
Choose Follow a line to see a short phrase across the four pads. For example:
Then try Freestyle and make up your own line that ends in the target word. You can say several syllables on a beat or leave a little silence. One word per pad is a beginner exercise, not a rule for all rap.
What the controls do
- Beat: choose a mellow pattern or a busier arcade pattern.
- Tempo: slower gives you more time to think.
- Round: choose four, eight, or sixteen bars.
- Shuffle: practice another group of words.
- Pause: take a break and resume the same round.
If you lose the beat
Pause, take a breath, and restart slowly. Say only the last word until the rhythm feels comfortable. If you switch tabs, the game pauses automatically.
